Topic

My topic is machine programming because it is something that has always been a part of my life and is basically making 3D art which is similar to what I wish to do for a job. Also, the fact that in machine programming, you can make something exist out of nothing but metal and a picture you drew is fascinating.

ESLRs

I plan to become self-disciplined this year as I no longer have the time to mess up because of my lack of will to do things at the moment I get them. This improves myself as an iPoly citizen because in senior project, no one else's grade will be affected because of my procrastination and I'll have no one but myself to keep me in check.

My communication skills will improve during this project as I will need to often check that if a problem with part making is because of my own mistake or one on the actual machine area by someone else. I cannot allow myself to get intimidated by others if I know that it was no fault of mine.

I plan to take as much info as I can get while being mentored from people who have been doing this job for years. This will make me an effective learner because even if the information may start to seem tedious, I will make sure not to let a moment of it go to waste

Technology is what makes my senior project possible. Without it, this job profession wouldn't even exist. Through out my experience, I will have a firmer grasp on what technology can do. One that I never took time to notice before.
