(1) Write a description of what you plan on doing for your independent study component.
I plan to do both in process inspection as well as final inspection of machined parts. I will be working with various inspection instruments designed to check the tightest tolerance of a part.
(2) Describe in detail how you think your plan will meet the 30 hours work requirement.
I will be doing the job of a quality inspector which will include using various type of inspection equipment on various types of parts.
(3) How does your independent study component relate to your working EQ?
Since my second answer is value machine tool quality over price, doing quality checks will help me better understand as to why tool quality is so important.
